Benefits

Competitive benefits are offered for year-round full-time employees who work an average of 30 hours or more including health, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability. All benefits are subject to a waiting period. We offer vacation time for full-time employees as follows:

6 months of service: 1 week

1 year of service: 2 weeks

5 years of service: 3 weeks

10 years of service: 4 weeks

Some non-health benefits are offered to part hour employees. Part-time employees are also offered time and one half if they work on our designated holidays.

Cherokee offers free parking, free meals while on duty, golf privileges on most Mondays, and work uniforms.
